Hello,

You should try : (tyco waterworks) go to english pages, downloads, and search for 'needle valves'.
Worldwide distribution.

Both data sheets and brochures available.

Both cone outlet valves and axial piston outlet valves available.

Note: Be sure to give upstream and downstream pressure, minimum and maximum flow and else necessary details.

Hello Metarge,

Recently I purchased a new valve book: Handbook of Valves and Actuators by Brian Nesbitt. In this book reference is made to several valves that could fall in the category “plunger valve”. It is all in the name and depends which application you need the valve for.

Besides Erhard also Blackhall is a well-known supplier of large plunger valves, especially for relatively easy water applications. However, they have named it a needle valve. ( For more critical applications (e.g. oil & gas) Mokveld axial control valves could be used. In the valves book these valves are referred to as “axial cage piston valves”.
