Loose leads in terminal box of medium voltage motor 3

Gents,
I have a GE motor of 500 HP, 4.16 kV, WP-II indoor installed, in terminal box there are 3 flexible cables coming from inside as loose leads (see pic attached), I mean without fixed terminations, to make connections. Is there any normative that demand me that this is OK or not? I found in NEMA 4.19.2.3 Terminal housing for large AC motors but is not completely clear if our terminations are correct for this motor or not. Your suggestions and answers will be very appreciated.

Looks like normal connections for a NEMA motor. Most NEMA motors do not have terminal strips or stationary lugs for the motor leads as is common win IEC motors that I have seen.

The motor leads need to be connected to the wires from the motor controller using bolted connections that are properly insulated and taped. The filed wires will probably be shielded cables and have to have stress control terminations.

You don´t need special terminations (terminal connectors) for the leads, only a few suggestions, verify the leads and crimping are true and check the leads voltage level is 4.16 kV or above.

The normative is NEMA Stds. MG 1 and IEC sTDS 60034-8 for 3 leads NEMA motors shoul be numbered 1,2 and 3 and for IEC motor like U,V,W. Three leads labelling is important only for direction rotating matters.
