Lost - unable to loacte file message 1

In the past when I moved or changed a part or assembly used in a top level assembly when opening the top level file I’d get a message stating 'unable to locate file, go look for it' which was good. for some unknown reason this has stopped happening and now when I open the top level assembly there are items that are suppressed and I have to manually re-attach things and unsuppressed. Is there a setting I’m missing to put this back to how it was?

the message has become dismissed go to
System Options - Advanced
check the box by the message to have it show again
