Hi ,

Could you please advice is there any problem occur in F22v alloy if it went for magnetic particle testing?

There should be no problems if the material was fabricated correctly.

it puzzled me that " if the material was fabricated correctly" statement.

the process is as follows.

1) std f22v
2) test NDE( magnetic particle )
3) heat treatment (+1200 deg C ( austenitic temp ) for increase mechanical properties.
4)forging to required shape
5)weld overlay by Ni alloy .
6) NDE (magnetic)

So my concerns is if I conduct magnetic NDE before heat treatment and also before weld overlay, the Fe particles using for NDE could affect the alloy.

No. there is no effect on this alloy. The surfaces should be cleaned before welding.
