I am new to the compressor world (and this list) and think I may be looking for something that falls in between many of the standard designs out there. I need to compress helium from 1 atm to 1.1 atm at a flow rate of 300 l/m. The gas starts at room temperature and the pressure ratio might need to go up or down a bit. The system needs to be clean and sealed, and I would like something that has a high thermodynamic efficiency. At first I thought a centrifugal blower would be the right design, but they tend to move ten times as much gas for the smallest models. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Look at a positive displacement straight blower, commonly called a Roots style.

at bthose ratios and small voume, don't worry about efficiency, put you money in a unit that has no seals. A hemetically seal air conditioner type compressor would work.
