Lubrification on sprocket gear

Hey fellas, is there any reference table or formula to estimate the correct amount of lubrificants on an sprocket gear and on its chain based on conveyor velocity? I need to estimate the amount of lubrificant of an sprocket gear drive which has been used on an conveyor.

@Tmoose Sorry I forgot this information... The initial ideia is a automatic and continuos device (Grip Lubrication).
