Greetings,

I just want to confirm the duration proposed by the contractor to shutdown a LV switchgear to install two new circuit breakers.
Cable glanding 2 hours for each breaker
Breakers installation 4 hours for each breaker
Cable termination 3 hours for each breaker
Torqueing and tagging 1 hours for each breaker

These are the shutdown activities, the cable pulling, scaffolding, etc. will be pre shutdown.

Thanks

Caution. I doubt you are safe pulling cables when switchgear is ON! There are things that are only possible when power is off. You might be inviting accidents, IMO.

Ten hrs for two breakers? That sounds more than fair. Your sub guys must not be the sleepy bastards we have.

CAble glanding for LV? in addition to cable termination? Are new switchgear cubicles required or is the installation in existing cubicles?

Is installing the cable included?

If anything, it seems a bit optimistic…
