M16 hex carbon bolt (or) M16 hex stainless steel 1

Hi,

I Would like to know which bolt would be best suited for automotive equipment given that vibration of that equipment is large.

M16 hex carbon bolt or stainless steel bolt.

Yes.

Material is a big factor... but you should look into grades. I think this is more specific to what you're looking for.


I've been following your other post as well. It would be wise to take a couple of pictures of a failed bolt (where it failed) and the head of the bolt. The markings on the head will identify the bolts strength allowing a better analysis of what you need.
