What value are you looking for? M52 x .75 is 52mm OD and .75mm pitch. Any other value (i.e. root diameter) can be calculated, knowing that M threads are 60 degree triangles.
Yep,
I know what 52mm x .75 means. Trying to do the calculation via the Machinery's handbook. While trying to calculate the min PD the table does not list .75 as an option for 45-90mm basic major. I believe that I can get close or will probably just do it the old fashion way and single point it until the mate fits.
I'm looking at Machinery's Handbook, 25th, in Threads and Threading, Metric Screw Threads, Formulas for M Profile Screw thread Limiting Dimensions. It lists formulas for internal and external threads.
I used to machine these type of threads for optics on cnc lathe
I used to get the data from a smaller but same pitch thread
and just adjust the dia data by simple maths
