Hi all,

I'm new here. I have designed an attachment for a telehandler and I am looking for someone to run an fea on a stp model for me. I have the relevant codes for design. I am willing to pay for work completed.

do you have good definition of the loads ? definition of the standards to be met ?

Where are you ?

This'd probably run something like $10k, depending on the details.

Hi RB,

Thankyou for your reply.
This isn't my first rodeo regarding fea's.
I do have the relevant Australian standards and the design load required for the job.
This is my first time posting on a forum though, as my usual engineer is unable to help at the moment.

ok, good to know (many posters are at their first rodeo). There should be FEA shops around in Oz, possibly VIPAC in Adelaide (and other places).

You might want to check with Strand7 that is Australian also - I know that they are extremely busy with a new upcoming release at the moment, but they might be able to help you (they have also done quite a lot of work in the mining area).

Thanks for that. I'd never heard of either of them, nor did they come up on google. I'll check it out.

try "VIPAC Adelaide"

Strand7 is a software vendor from Australia developing FEA software (and providing consultancy services), quite popular in the civil and mining area worldwide (~5000 installations worldwide).
