Curious the forum’s recommendations lube
oil piping design connecting to machinery (pumps, compressors, etc.)?
My understanding is the ideal is buttwelded stainless steel. I will be implementing this in an upcoming project for 3/4” & 1” lube oil piping. My RFWN flanges will have typical spiral-wound gaskets with inner rings.
Does the forum recommend buttwelding lube oil piping down to 1/2” size as well? Does the forum typically install spiral-wound gaskets with inner rings for buttwelded RFWN flanges as well?
