Does anyone have any experience machining Hastalloy?

if so what Surface speed and depth of cuts are best?

I had very, very poor luck simply drilling Hastalloy X last year until I really slowed down the drill bit and used a little bit less pressure.

But for the number of holes I needed, I found a hand-held electric punch worked very simple, very fast, and was simplest of all.

Doesn't help you with machining, but I figure I'll throw my 2 cents in.

The only luck I had Machining Hastelloy
.220 drill 30 SFM .004-.006 chip load
M6 roll tap 60 RPM
General milling 60-80 sfm
Tin coated carbide or multicoated ticn tialn

Thru hole coolant is very helpfull
