If you are inquiring about standardized sheet sizes, such as Letter, Legal, A0, A1, A, B, C - those can be altered, added to, or removed via drafting standards.

in your ENV check the CATDefaultCollectionStandard path. In that path you should have your xml file that define your standard.

CATDefaultCollectionStandard = c:\..\\resources\standard;D:\MyCATIAEnv\V5R23\resources\standard;

in D:\MyCATIAEnv\V5R23\resources\standard
you have myCorporateDraftingStd.xml

you create your xml from an existing one.

I have to add my own customized sheet in CATIA library... for example I have customized a sheet according to my standards and now I want this sheet to appear every time when I open a new drawing file, so that I can choose my own sheet instead of standards sheets such as AO, A1 , A2

CATIA File new drawing will always bring empty file.

if you want to define the standard then check what was said above and more on CATIA admin setting defaults in the online doc.

What we do is we prevent user from doing file new (option from setting) and we have a macro that open a reference drawing file (we build) and create a new file according to user inputs on size and other parameter.

Sorry can't share this, but you can find some example on the net (including this forum)

Eric is showing you the raw xml file, which can be edited.

Catia will edit the xml file via the interface provided under Tools>Standard
Change Category: drafting.
Select the File: to edit.

It is necessary to start an Administrative Mode Catia Session to enable editing via the Catia interface.

Hi,

First Satish should told us what does it means for him customization: special format size, a title block already implemented, few custom views already created eventually with some elements inside, special formatting for drawing elements and so on.

If he don't want to deal with xml files or something else already suggested, he can record a macro and modify a little bit. Open a new drawing, start recording and do manually: copy the custom sheet and paste in the new drawing, delete (if wanted) the other sheet and so on. I agree with Eric is the best way to do the drawings according to what he already exposed.

Anyway, is good to have as much details as possible.

Regards
Fernando
