Hello to everyone,

It's my first time here and for what I've read, it looks really cool !!! I would like to know if anyone of you has had any contact or knows about air compressors driven not by motors but by a magnets positioned in the cylinder. I'm looking for small cylinder-piston or diaphragm compressors that use this kind of drive. Also I would like to know where to find miniature compressors like the ones used in portable car air units that work with up to 250 psi.

Thanks in advance.

I think some of the "aquarium" style of air compressors work on this principal. A changing magnetic flux moves a diaphram. I doubt you would get that much pressure though.
Good luck
