Good morning. I am trying to make a model of a hose with an inner core liner. The model is a coiled hose and so I am using a helix and I can sweep either the core profile and the braid profile, but not both even if they are in the same sketch. There are a dozen different versions of this model and 3 different size hoses, so the helix will be changing to fit larger hose od's. Any suggestion on what I am doing wrong? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Helix does not like to be used in more than one feature. Strange bug that has never been resolved.

For each sweep, do not use the helix curve. Make a 3D sketch, copy the helix using "Convert Entities", and use the 3D sketch for your sweep path.

Thanks for the response. I will give it a try and see if anything happens, but I don't work with 3D sketch every much.
