make part plane visible in assembly

Hi,
how can I make a datum plane of a part visible in an assembly? I have a round part and need a plane to constrain it to the rest of my assembly...

Go back the detailed Master part model of the Component in question and ADD the desired Datum(s) to the 'Model' Reference Set.
