making animation from configurations

hello - I have a pic & place device that I have configurations in the model for up/down & in/out - if & can I make an animation out of this using the already created configurations to make this move - I am using solidworks 2016 - any info or help would be greatly appreciated - thank you

Since your using SW 2016 look into the "mate controller" they added this year. I have been able to make some nice videos very fast with it. I am not sure how it interacts with configurations, but you can likely copy the numbers from your configurations into the mates and do it quickly.
