I am currently working on a project using NX2 to route some tubing. I am one of the first people at my company to try and utilize the Mechanical Routing package so I don't have too many people to ask questions. I currently have a routing path defined by a couple sketches in which I have defined points in the sketch. The Mechanical Routing package recognizes the points and creates the routing with no problems. My problem is that if I change any of the sketches the points of the routing do not follow the points of the sketch. Is there some way to dynamically link the strings in the mechanical routing to the points in the sketches I have created? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You might try using basic tubes with Curve by two projections to create more complicated tube features. I did this once when I was working at a place where the Routed System model could no longer be opened. This takes a little more thought to set up complicated 3d routings.
