Hello tippers,
I'm trying to figure out a way to make a "coiled coil" in Solidworks, or basically a helix curve which axially follows another helical path (think light bulb filament) or any arbitrary path. It seems that Solidworks by itself can't do it (or prove me wrong!) but I figure there might be a package or add-in or something that can do it. Anybody know how to do this?
Thanks

ctopher, I'm continually amazed at the capabilities of Solidworks :)
I think I just got in a rut of thinking I could only use the helix creator to make this thing. I forgot about the "twist along path" option.
