Manganese question.

Can anyone please tell me what the yield strength and modulus E is for this material?

I'm trying to bend it on a CNC press but I'm over bending so I think I have the data for this material entered in wrong.

Are you sure you have pure manganese? Not magnesium? Not manganese-containing steel?

Pure manganese is brittle, and wouldn't bend well without cracking.

Sorry, the Material is 1330 Steel.

Being an alloy steel, the yield strength and elongation will vary depending on heat treatment. Modulus should stay at 29x10^6 psi.
