Im currently working on a project which involves a cold rolling mill,

Im trying to track down a positioning linear slide to hold a small spray gun, yet have adjustability in the X/Y axis,

Anyone know or used of a product that can do such a thing.?

thanks

how about Parker slides with micrometer mounts? we would just stack them at right angles and mount our stuff on top.

Luck is a difficult thing to verify and therefore should be tested often. - Me

thanks just what i was looking for.!

Shouldn't be hard to find on the net. Search for "dovetail slides" or "stages" or "X-Y slides" or "X-Y stages" in Thomasnet.com or globalspec.com . I used a pair of dovetail slides in a design to position a tool accurately but inexpensively.

Try the DGE series of Festo linear slides. Used them on a job recently to apply glue to the inside of a bore. They werk well. You can contact me directly if you need more assistance.

sorry, thought it was the x-axis only. You could probably go with a piggy back set-up, one cylinder mounted perpendicular to the other if you have the room. Alterntavily, try Festo.

PHD offers a great multi-motion linear slide. I was very pleased, and they ship in 1-2 days so that always helps.
