Manufactured Home Foundation 3

I want to see how others have certified a foundation for a manufactured home with a full basement.
I have done manufactured homes without basement, but not one with a full basement. What is needed? Do the footings need to be uncovered?

Typically a crawl condition, but the manual does address the basement condition too. The same principles of application would apply in the manual. What you cannot see or verify, you pass off to the jurisdiction for their OK or whatever. Makes no difference.

But the price would be greater for a basement? Here you have a lot more issues with regards to occurring safety, alternatively for foundations the safety is a probable situation.

We have done a few of these, but not with a basement. In our state(CA), there are proprietary systems on the market which have HUD approvel that meets the requirements for the "permanent foundation" designation. What is confusing, the HUD guidelines state that the foundations "must" have concrete or masonry; however, some approved proprietary systems include helical piers and no concrete. Also, some lenders, aside from what is mentioned above, want confirmation that the tounges and axles have been removed.
