Hi All,
I would like to ask what are the ways to find out which steels have poor impact properties.
For example, AISI 410 material is a NACE SS material that have temperature rating of P, R,S,T and U under temperature classification in API 6A. On the other hand, S41500 or F6NM which is also a NACE SS material, have temperature rating of K,L,P,R,S,T and U. What I understand here is that because AISI 410 has poor impact properties, therefore it won't meet the charpy test requirement based on temp K.
As such, how can I determine or conclude which materials have poor impact properties under certain temp?
Appreciated the help given here. Let me know if the content is not clear and require more explanation.
Thanks,
Jeffrey
