Hello,

I need to find the DIN or US standard equivalent for R St 1304. It is either German or Swedish steel.

Thank you for the help.

I believe there is some mix-up with the material code you have in your post. It looks very similar to a pipe spec material in accordance with DIN 2393-2.

"R St 1304" is what I have listed as a material on the drawing from Germany. I supposed it was a German standard for some type of steel.

Yes, it is a German code for sheet metal. Another code is 1.0333. It is an unalloyed quality steel, hardness 220 HB.

Thank you, Micalbrch. That helps me a lot. Good luck in your career.

micalbrch,
1.0333 has max HB 120 !!

tensile strength 270-370 N/mm²
yield strengt 250 N/mm²

I never heard about a material designate "RST 1304"

Mikel,

You're right with 120 HB. That was a typing mistake. Sorry.

RSt 1304 is an old code and it was only used for sheets.
