Hello all, I just joined this forum, hope I can contribute as well as get some direction.
I am a design engineer at a linear actuator supplier for aerospace applications, in particular ballscrew actuators.
We have recently seen a surge in the number of RFQ's for high temperature ballscrew actuators, one in particular I am working on currently will be operating in 700-800F though for a short time.
I am looking into possible materials and at this point have it narrowed down to 3-
Inconel 718

Thoughts, comments, suggestions, etc. would be welcome.
Thanks
