Material to test for sa216

I'm needing to test to a WPS for welding SA216 (casting) and want to know the plate I can use foe this. I am looking to use sa516 as it falls under the same p number(1) and group number (2) and has a matched tensile strength of 70ksi and matching nominal composition (c-mn-si).
Does this sound right?
