Hello guys and girls!

New on here! :)

Right could anyone help me with Secant Modulus at 2.5%, Specific strength, Specific tensile modulus

i.e. Secant Mod = Yield load/CSA * Gauge L/Delta L, does this seem like the right formula for secant at 2mm?

Gauge length for all materials: 80mm

Material:
Nylon 66, UF
Nylon 66, F
Polycarbonate (PC)
Polypropylene (PP)
Mild Steel
Aluminium

With respective density's:
1.14E+06
1.38E+06
1.20E+06
9.00E+05
7.90E+06
2.70E+06

For the CSA, is it correct to use the ORIGINAL CSA of the material?

Cheers
Mike

This looks very much like a students homework question

Helping students cheat is against forum policy.

Why do you ask.

Also, the heading is not descriptive of anything. Another policy is that headings should be descriptive enough to aid later searches on the same topic.
