How can I put different materials in the same part of a standard '.ipt'? It is that possible?

Thanks!

Hi Evalles,

I might be wrong but I beleive you have to create separate sketches for each piece and combine them into one item.

Rgds,

currently an ipt can only have 1 material defined for it.
You can have multiple color styles but only 1 material style.

When you say "materials" do you actually mean materials or do you really mean color textures that repressent different materials? You can apply color textures by part, by body, by feature and by face.

First thanks for the answers (and sorry for my bad english!) I know that you have to create separate sketches for each piece and combine them into one item. But I've done a mistake and what I actually need is to apply color textures by features or faces. So, how could I do that?
Thanks again!

Right click on a feature in the browser and select Properties - then select the color or texture you need.

To change an individual face right click on the face and select Properties...

Attach your file here if you can't figure it out.

Thanks, at the end it was really easy! "You've saved me!"
