Materials

Hi all,

I've read through the posts I can find on material creation in NX (7.5) and they indicate that I should be modifying the XML file. However, shouldn't I be able to create materials from within NX using the Tools - Materials - Manage Materials? Some of the documentation I've found mentions the create materials icon but I'm not getting it appear.

Any help appreciated.

The button at the bottom right of the (Tools > Material > Manage Materials (Create)...) doesn't appear?

I've just been in to my customer defaults and it looks like I hadn't set up my directories or enable it. Now it appears
