We have the MathCAD file accessible, but it is designed (and much faster) to input its required starting values from the MathConnex interface. How do we get this version 13 MathCAD to accept this input data ? If MathConnex does not work with these later versions, is there an Excel (or any other) front-end that would do the same ?

Mathconnex seems to have disappeared with Mathcad 12/13 - much to my irritation, as I had a few Mathconnex projects from earlier versions that were quite useful. But you can use Excel to "talk" with Mathcad (via an add-in, or just as a "normal" Windows thing (ODE or whatever the current terminology for these things is)).
