Can anyone offer how to advice on creating drop down menus MathCad? I use MathCad versions 6, 13, 14, 15 and 2001i.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

StrPE,

I think what may work is the list boxes. Go to Insert > Control > List Box and see if that works for you. I acually found your post today while looking for the solution myself so I have not played around with it too much yet.

This doesn't appear to be a true drop down menu but is the closest thing I've found yet, hopefully with some tweaking both of us can get it to suit our needs.

SWmechE,

This is off-topic, but whenever I want to read a table such as the AISC database, I simply import it from a spreadsheet into a data table right in my Mathcad worksheet. Then use vlookup functions to get data out of that. I do not want to have to manage a bunch of other spreadsheet files along with my Mathcad worksheet file.

Thanks SWmechE, I'll give it a try. Keeping my fingers crossed.
