Mathcad handbook: roark's formulas

Hello all,

We have been long time users of Mathcad in combination with an "electronic handbook" for Roark's formulas for stress and strain. The version we are currently using is Mathcad 14 in combination with a Roarks handbook with files dating february 1994.

Now we are migrating to new systems and we will be getting Mathcad 15. As can be expected, we are experiencing problems with using a 1994 handbook in a 2011 software.

Anyone knows where can we find a more recent version of Roark's handbooks?

I have, with confident authority, knowledge that tells me Mathcad Prime will be using Knovel Library's version of Roark's. But that's a future release or update of Prime.

I have looked at the comparison sheet between 15 and prime. I don't understand the reason for existence of prime, but that's another discussion.

Mathcad 15 also has an option to open "e-books", so I guess there must be e-books available to open. Where can we find those?

Prime is expected by PTC to eventually replace the original MC product line, and is apparently a massive re-write of everything within MC, including the graphing capability, which has had minimal changes over the years. So, overally, it'll be a good thing, if and when they complete the functional transition. They're at least one to two major revs away from duplicating all of MC's current functionality.

Sorry to have taken the the thread off topic.

It's been a while since I used Roark's with Mathcad. Wasn't the e-Book an extra purchase? You may have to call PTC and see about obtaining a copy. Otherwise, you'll have to find a different 3rd party Roark's applications. I know about the Knovel Library one (haven't used it) and one for Excel (wouldn't want to use it).
