I have two equal rings with 6 holes in a circular patern. These rings are kept apart by small spheres that fit in those holes. To align the rings i use a coecentric mate between the faces of the iner holes. My problem is when i try to move a ring to touch the spheres the whole assembly moves as if it was a single part.

Could someone help me ?

Thanks in advence

You should place the first part in the assembly on the origin and fix it to that point. then add items around it. that will keep that from happening in the future.

You still need to fix a part and constrain it to the origin somehow.

The first part you place in the assembly should be fixed by default.
Then I assume you'll use a TANGENT mate between the surface of one sphere and the nearest edge of one of the holes.
But - Scott is right - step one is to fix at least one of them rings.
