Hi,

I am trying to mate a pre-made Water pump to a base made by me. I cut 2 holes to mate pieces of the pump into. One piece has a protruding rim mated to the edge of the first circle, with the shaft center mated. The second is only center mated two a properly sized hole, as it is to slide in and out freely. These two shafts are connect to a pivoting piece via nuts/bolt/grips etc. The whole pump, as it's own piece moves and pivots freely. However when i mate the two (involves a cross-assembly mate), being the pump and base, together, i get two errors when attempting to reposition. They are:

1)When attempting to pivot the pump within the base:
"Motion failed - Motion causes a mating violation

and

2)After I attempt to move the piece a box appears with a dialog highlighting the Mating of the sliding shaft and the pivot point as well notifying me that:
"Constraint 3 causes a circularity"

What does this mean, and how can i fix this? Any input is appreciated;

Here is an idea of what i am doing, and may make my explanation make more sense (you need a vrml viewer to see it):
Here a screenshot (in the screen, the left shaft should slide, and the block at the top should pivot along both bolts):

Edit, when i click "show detailed description" so i can perhaps see what the problem is, a message comes up saying,

"Mating condition uses a feature that follows an extraction the condition effects"

What does this mean, as well as the other two in the previous post
