Are all you subscribers happy with MatWeb? I'm looking to sign-up as a premium user to download properties in a SW material database for specialty materials. Does this functionality work well?

Also, I went to search for past threads in the forums, and it’s been down for a few days. It sez it’s undergoing maintenance.

Thanks,

I use MatWeb for all my material research needs. My collection of books have seen no use since I found MatWeb.

Heckler,
Have you downloaded the CAD properties in the SW database?

Thanks,

Colin

We had a subscription but let it lapse. We used it pretty heavily for the first few months but then it started to taper off as we built our own custom library of materials. I think that it is worth the money. I also think the transition into SolidWorks was a breeze.
