I am trying to figure out the equations needed to find max axial thrust on a single deep groove bearing (Ball Bearings 5/8" Diameter) as a function of weight on bit and rpm. What is there relationship. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

goodguy,

Not enough information! How about a diagram? You don't even say if the shaft is vertical or horizontal.
