Max Pressure Rating for R Style Ring Gaskets (R57 specifically)

I am trying to find the maximum working pressure for a R57 ring gasket. I am receiving conflicting information with some saying it is 3000psi and others saying 5000psi.

The standard API flange slide rules don't really apply to me as this is an OEC and otherwise a non-standard api flange but the application is very similar. API 6A doesn't seem to say anything regarding this fact other than the R57 isn't used for any 5000# flanges.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

ASME 16.20a-2000 Table 4, page 8 shows the R-57 ring gasket suitable for API 6B CL3000 flanges to size NPS-12 , or
for ASME B16.5 CL900 flanges to NPS-12.
