Maximum allowable stress for A105 II

We are having troubles in Venezuela where I work, and I can´t find some data. I need the maximum allowable stress (S, the value in thickness calculation in ASME section VIII, div. I) for A105 Grade 2. I know is a plate but th vessel has been made laminated.

A-105 is a forged material !
A-105 2 doesn't exist.
Allowable stress is 20.0 ksi at 200°F.

Well, of course ASTM A-105 is a common forging material and the allowable stresses are given in the Codes.

ASTM A-105, Gr. 2 is used in forged socket weld fittings, some forged valve bodies, in-line traps and filters, etc. I suspect that a focused search of the internet will yield the information that you require.

First off, sorry, this is probably far too late to respond, but I just came across this today while browsing the forum.

ASTM A105 - Grade II is a forging, but this grade does not appear in current standards - it is simply listed as ASTM A105 in current standards. The Grade II designation was dropped sometime after 1972. I can't tell you the exact year, since I do not have access to all of the old ASTM standards. You should use allowable stresses in the Code year applicable to the design.

 
Wizster is correct. Prior to the 2001 Edition of the ASME B&PV Code, the allowable stress value for SA 105 material up to 650 deg F was 17.5 Ksi.
