Good day!
I am designing columns and piles for a viaduct.

It has a single column and a single pile on all piers. One of my columns, with an unsupported height of 13.7m (12.7m clear height) has a deflection of around 160mm for longitudinal direction and 340mm for transverse direction at the unsupported height. Is there something written in AASHTO LRFD 2012 about the maximum deflection?

Nothing I'm aware of. That deflection seems excessive. Are you using the strength combinations or is this from the service combinations?
