In the specifiers guide I'm seeing some different numbers as to what can be ordered for TJI I-Joists, however from a practical standpoint what is the longest that one should go? What is the longest length you have spec'ed out or seen spec'ed out?

I've done 23' I-joists, not totally by choice I would've preferred Open wood web trusses but for some reason the homeowner was demanding i-joists and I didn't have a good reason not to spec them.

43'-7" long and continuous over 4 spaces(rooms) divided by 5 walls in one location and the same length, 43'-7" over 3 spaces(rooms) divided by 4 walls. This was a commercial office space.

Looks like Menards has some 48' TJI's listed. So a 40' floor joist is not out of the question, even though it would probably take 4 guys to lift it into place.
