Hello all...... We have a situation where we need to load ACSR conductor in 120-130 deg C range. I am trying to figure out how long (hours, weeks, months?) a conductor can be operated above the normal operating temperature before aluminum starts to anneal and conductor strength gets impacted. If anyone can share their knowledge on the topic or any literature, that will be much appreciated.

The connectors and/or the antioxidant grease in the connectors may be limiting component. The aluminum begins to anneal at 93 C. You will have to determine what loss of strength is acceptable for your application.
