Mazak Lasers

Hi, I have been looking into mazak lasers and would like to hear some feedback on machine reliability and performance etc.

Any comments would be appreciated

These machines are very simple with very few bells and whistles with the exception of the HyperGear.

They use Panasonic Resonators and Mazak's own control. Reliability wise they are very good product, just like any other machine with the proper care and maintenance it will go long ways. Used one for a couple of years but was the old TX-48 (mid to late eighties) and worked fine despite its age.

Hi!
Actually every brand his advantages. For Mazak one of interesting things - using hybrid system instead of flying optics - table with material is moving X-direction, laser head is moving in Y direction. Internal alignment is not diturbed and easy fixed + beam is more powerfull - 4 mirrors instead of 12 deliver more power from resonator to metal sheet and beam divergence is good.
