Hi ,

I will be completing my masters in structural engineering in one of schools in Ohio, USA. I have a 2 yrs work exp and my research was also related to my work exp. Now i am wondering what next to do? ..I have appeared for a EIT..
I want to get the thrill of doing high end technical stuff (Possible PE?) and also would like to go up the corporate ladder..(MBA?)..

any insights?
thanx in advance

Spend some additional time gaining work experience so that you can get into a "high end technical" position and see if you actually like it. Then look at the next step. I do not see a reason why you could not persue a PE and MBA concurrently (will be a challenge). Without the work experience to back you up though, your career will still be limited.

Regards,

Personally, I'd start/continue working and get your PE. Once you've got some cash saved, go after your MBA (perhaps with company sponsorship). You can use your PE to get some side work while in B-school
