McCombs's supplement to Bruhn 1

I'm looking to find a physical copy of McCombs's supplement to Bruhn's Analysis & Design of Flight Vehicle Structures. I'm aware that electronic copies exist and where to find them, but this is for a university library, and don't want something that will have copyright issues. Unfortunately, this has proved very tough to find. I even reached out to his family to ask if they were able to work with us to get new copies printed, but didn't hear back.

If you have a physical copy you're willing to part with (either donate directly to the school, or sell to me and I'll donate it), I'd appreciate it.

My company bought a copy many years ago from Dr McCombs, but I believe he has passed so I'm not sure of the copyright concern.

Our copy has a note about buying a copy ... I'll see what I can get tm.

US copyright stays with the estate for 70 years after the death of the original holder. There are other considerations if corporations are sold the rights.

My favorite was a guy who got an art book, long out of print, no one to contact. He scanned it, posted it online, and was contacted by a copyright lawyer shortly thereafter. The family got involved and had no idea that a work some 40 years or so out of print was of value to anyone. The guy took down the scans, no suit was filed, and the family arranged for a new printing. Unfortunately the original had been lost and the new printing was a crap quality duplicate, but since it was to show how to draw ("Fun With a Pencil") it still got the information across.

He has indeed passed away. For a time, his widow was advertising in R/C airplane hobbyist mags for a book McCombs had written on the subject. I tried reaching out to her via the contact info she had listed in the ads, but no response. (The ads were from a number of years before I tried to find her.) Then went looking for McCombs's obituary, and found a couple of his grandkids on Facebook; I sent messages asking if they could help with the rights to print it. Again, never heard anything back.

Agreed with 3DDave re: copyright.

Here's what I have for contacts from our paper copy ... but sounds like you've chased things to ground.

Could I donate my paper copy to your library ?

If you don't mind parting with it, I would be very grateful! I'll send you a private message.
