Sorry, any one can explain, the meaning of Trim Line, and function.

Give us a bit of a clue - diagram, photo, bit more of a description, something like that....

usually they are small bore lines used to balance pressure or provide fine control over pressure or flow, but without some more info it's not easy.

Also: There's usually a good reason why everyone does it that way
 
The term 'Trim Line' could mean different things depending on the field of use.
The term Trim Line is used in:
- Sewing - where you make the cut & leave the enough fabric to make a proper seam
- Sailing = a line (rope) used to adjust the sail
- Piping of vessels = miscellaneous piping attached to a vessel or tank for the purpose of vent, drain, level bridles, Pressure gauges, Temperature gauges, and any other piping that is attached to the vessel only and does not leave the vessel


Sometimes its possible to do all the right things and still get bad results
