I am developing an intranet website for our engineering department and would like to include a section on helpful websites for engineers...things like online calculators, design resources, standards..etc. We are mainly mechanical engineers and do alot of machine design with motion control invlovled.

So please post any helpful/reference websites that you find useful in your daily engineering work.

Personally, I would add the links to (all of) the preferred vendors of your company. Also include the everyday links to find general parts such as

My favorite one, in case you need military specifications, is

where you can download, for free, several military specifications.

I assume you're using a CAD system. A link to their homepage may be beneficial. Often times they have little tips and tricks which may be of benefit to your engineers to glance at occasionally.
