Was it ANSI or IEC?

All ANSI, but every line of switchgear I’ve looked at includes stacks as well as singles. No idea about life in the IEC world.

Hi, It implies that breakers are arranged in 2 tier fashion, 2 breakers in a vertical section.

1. If you look into any manufacturer LV switchgear catalogues, you will see what is "two-stack" as explained. For LV switchgear there are even "three-stack".
2. For MV due to bigger physical size up to say 22kV with vacuum or SF6 breakers, there are "two-stack" design available on the market.
3. This is applicable to IEC or ANSI world.

Low voltage is 4, medium voltage is 2. Low voltage is almost always 4, but for MV, industrial/commercial customers almost always go 2 but utility customers often limit it to one per section.
