Damn. That could get ugly. That's what happens when riding on the LiIon bronco. They Tesla shouldn't drag their feet any more on bringing out LiFePO4

I really don't understand why anyone would touch LiIon these days for solar storage.

I will admit LiFePO4 has quite a tight operating window before restrictions charging and discharge kick in but its no where near as volatile as LiIon

Yep; And its proven and uses no cobalt. I see things like this and think, "Do I want a Tesla battery screwed to my garage wall?".

Tesla's probably suffering from 'while holding a hammer, everything looks like a nail' syndrome.

It's the snake oil that burns.

Some of the DIY battery setups are just plain scary.

Do they produce LiFePO4 in the USA?

Must admit I really struggled to get my byd battery it was 3 months of emails. And if it wasn't for an excellent importer in Germany I wouldn't have got it.

At a site in the middle of nowhere and they put the units next to each other.
Putting them in pairs and then separating them by 6ft would have been trivial, and prevented some of the issues.
