Memory Management in Inventor

Hi
I have 4GB of RAM in my computer but inventor(2008) only shows approx 1 - 1.5 GB in its memory meter, how can in increase tht capacity, bcoz i was working on a assembly with approx 2000+ occurrences and this cause memory meter to get full.
Advice please.

Not done 3G switch yet. But is it safe to apply !
i mean is any instability of system can occur ?

Yes the 3G switch is typically safe to apply.
There are some minor problems with a certain nvdia graphics card driver but in general you should be fine.
