I've written a new partial Menu, but for some reason every time I start a new session it has dropped out. It loads fine every time, but is gone next time I start.

Funny thing is, it was only an altered .mns file from a previous menu I'd written and that one stays in fine.

I've checked all the file paths, etc have been correctly revised...anything else it could be?

After your load your menu in. Try creating a new profile in the preferences area, and export it out just in case you need to reload it back in. Could be the default profile, is not allowing you to update itself. After you create a new profile, it should load the new profile everytime.

So is it a toolbar, or a pull down that you are loading in manually? What version of AutoCAD are you running?

Sorry for not making it clear...AutoCAD 2004...and yes it is a pull down menu.

I was just surprised that this is only an edited (and expanded)version of the original menu (albeit renamed) and that one stays loaded no problem.

Anyway, I shall try the suggestions and let you know if it works.

thanks for your replies.

Another helpful suggestion is to plug your .mnu file into your AutoCAD folder under
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2004\R16.0\enu\Support
After copying it there, load it from this location and then check to see if it stays. G.L.
